Hello, this is your friend Nana, from You Are an Artist! I want you to gather around while I tell you a story about two magical sisters who are funny and HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL! They encourage homeschool moms and dads across the country and around the world. The Sisters are REALLY magical—they offer advice, extoll the newest curriculum and have superb guests (like us) on their podcast. All without a biscuit in each hand! We sure love our sweet friends, Cait and Kara, who we have crowned as honorary Southerners!

Shevonne says, “As a momma to four kids, finding lessons that can meet all my children’s needs and interests is a challenge. When we came across lessons from You Are An Artist I was blown away. There is something for everyone (adults included)! My children love the variety of lessons from Seasonal drawings, Holiday themes, to animals and so many more! Honestly, the hardest part about the membership is deciding which lessons to do that day. I love that we can incorporate something they love within our educational studies. The I Drew It, then I Knew It series has a monumental variety of detailed lessons from geography, artist studies, biographies, to History (and so much more). It allows us to add a fun, creative, art lesson that aligns perfectly with our formal lessons. The videos are so well done, Nana’s storytelling and her warm personality makes you feel as if you truly know her. She is encouraging throughout the entire lesson, giving the perfect amount of instructions, while making sure not to overwhelm the artists. We absolutely LOVE her lessons! I can say with 100% certainty that You Are An Artist is perfect for ages 3-35 (and up)!!

With You ARE An Artist Chalk Pastel, there’s no expensive, intimidating list of art supplies. Just add chalk pastels and construction paper and head over to – because you ARE an artist!

  1. Patty says:

Last year, after “crisis schooling” all 3 of my kiddos (2 of whom are special needs) due to shut downs, I’m so happy to be homeschooling my 2 special needs kiddos this year. My middle kiddo chose to attend in person when possible. Thanks for all the help and support!
