This episode is sponsored by Bardsy, your gateway to creative writing! Bardsy is a creative writing program that focuses on fun first. Too many writing programs for kids focus on the mechanics of writing first. Bardsy has done the research: the best way to improve writing skills is to tap into your learner’s innate creativity with fun and personally relevant activities. You won’t find a bunch of grammar worksheets or tedious scripted exercises here. Bardsy facilitates the most important part of creative writing – the creativity!

Bardsy has every tool you need. The Bardsy Method breaks storytelling down into two complementary steps: development and assembly. To put this method into practice, Bardsy has devised tools you won’t find anywhere else: namely, the Bardsy Storywheel and Prospero, their AI story wizard. Bardsy has spent years testing and refining their technique, so it’ll work for you, and your learner too! The Story Spinner is a huge favorite: Kids “spin” and receive randomized ideas for characters, places and themes to write about.

Bardsy has video courses that take creative writing and break it down into easily understandable concepts and fun. For example: A new video course is taught by a professional screenwriter and uses how superhero stories are told to walk the learner through creating their own character.

Bardy’s first priority is to help your child complete one story. In this initial learning plan, Bardy walks you through everything you need to help your child write a story with ease, whether it’s their first or fiftieth. Learners can submit their writing to be published each quarter along with other students’ work as part of the Bardy Homeschool Anthology. Learn more at Bardsy.com!

Hi ladies, just discovered your podcast and I love it so much!
Regarding games… do you have any tips or tricks having to do with game storage? Many of them take up a lot of space, and come in boxes that are not completely full. Just curious… many thanks!
