This episode was fairly epic for me. Believe it or not I have never heard gifted kids discussed in this way. Growing up, my mom always called us late bloomers, because we just weren’t always ready for things at the typical time. Learning that my gifted daughter may be at a different emotional than intellectual level has opened my eyes. This has given me a new direction. Thank you!
PS – My 7 year old is so into Calvin and Hobbes right now!
Thank you for this episode! It came at the perfect moment for me. You made me laugh and feel so much better. My son talks non-stop from morning til night and at 11, he still wakes in the night with worries. I’m exhausted, but it was lovely to hear that I’m not alone. Your tips on getting “introvert” time were great too.
Also, YES to Yoga with Adriene!! I discovered her a couple of months ago, and it has been life changing!
So glad I found your podcast!
