Try the Schar baguettes for gluten free bread. Many gluten free bakeries will ship if there is one in your state (Mariposa Bakery is awesome if you are in Northern California. I think they ship). Gluten free bread from scratch is the hardest to bake, but for a treat bread use Pamela’s Bread mix and add cinnamon sugar and raisins. It’s awesome toasted.
Hi Sisters! Kara, I’m all about the chocolate and bread and pastries too! Here is a great GF bread recipe I have been using with success in the past year (that is also easily adaptable with other GF flours). To make it even easier (and faster) I do one rise (instead of two) in a loaf pan (not on the tray, and I skip the pan with water in oven as well) and then bake. Enjoy! http://www.nourishingmeals.com/2011/04/gluten-free-bread-xanthan-free-vegan.html
Loved all the tea suggestions!! And yes, make and drink fire cider when sick. Always kicks a cold in a day or 2 🙂
