Your podcast is one of the mainstays in my week in providing me with encouragement, ideas, and providing me with a sense of 'solidarity' as I have been starting out in this world of homeschooling.

You were actually the first podcast I ever listened to in the entire world of podcasting. It was the Episode 5: You Don't Have to Do It All, and I was hooked. You guys are my foundation for the homeschool world...everything I know about homeschooling is from you guys! Anyway, thanks for being absolute rockstars, giving so freely of your time and knowledge, and for shaping the world of homeschool in such a positive light. You have given me the tools and the confidence to push onward with our dream of homeschooling!

I started listening last sometime last year when I was yearning for community. Listening to you two chat made me laugh, smile and helped with support even though I don’t know you. But so do know you, you are just like me, we are mothers trying to raise our children in the best way we can/the best way for them through homeschooling. I wasn’t alone, I just had not found my tribe, yet.

Meet The Homeschool sisters

On this podcast, we talk about real life homeschooling, books, caffeine addiction and surviving and thriving through these wonderful years.

MEET YOUR SISTER
Cait Curley

Cait is a school psychologist, mom to three terrific little teachers, and an unexpected homeschooler. Cait truly believes homeschooling can be almost all fun and games!

In 2014, Cait found herself suddenly, unexpectedly, homeschooling her oldest son. She started My Little Poppies that very day! In 2016, Cait and Kara co-founded The Homeschool Sisters Podcast. Most recently, Cait created an online community for creative parents and educators who embrace play-based learning and gameschooling. It's called Never Board Learning and it's tons of fun!

Cait lives in NH with her husband, three kids, and dog. She loves good books, strong coffee, games, and dancing in her kitchen to Kenny Chesney.

I needed some real talk from mom’s in the trenches with me...with practical information that I could use to better my homeschooling, switch things up, try something new, etc. This podcast has given me the confidence I needed to step out and try new methods, curriculum and experiences.
